Allyson Haynes Stuart is Of-Counsel to Crystal & Giannoni-Crystal, LLC.
She is a scholar and practicing attorney focusing on privacy, data security, and e-discovery issues
Professor Stuart has taught law for eleven years. At the Charleston School of Law, she taught E-Discovery, Information Privacy Law and Internet Law, in addition to a variety of required first-year and upper level courses, including Contracts, Civil Procedure, and Evidence. She taught Internet Law as an adjunct at Brooklyn Law School; taught Comparative Privacy Law (the EU and the US) as an adjunct at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain, and Stetson University in Granada, Spain; and taught Comparative Intellectual Property (the EU and the US) at Suffolk University in Madrid, Spain.
She is a graduate of Duke University and the University of South Carolina School of Law (Magna Cum Laude). Before joining the Charleston faculty she clerked for U.S. District Judge David C. Norton, practiced with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton in New York, and was a director of the legal department of Sony Corporation of America.
